New Features on PrairiePride.org

Last week we added in a couple of new features to PrairiePride.org that we hope staff, students and parents will find useful.

We’ve added social media (Facebook, Twitter, email, and personal calendar) interaction buttons to all events on the web-based calendar.  This means that if you search up an event on any of our web-based calendars and click on it, you can easily share the event information on Facebook, Twitter, or email. You can also drop this event into your own personal calendar on your phone/computer.

New Calendar Features at PrairiePride.org

We are now able to share all high school athletic/activity events on our main district calendar.  Up until last week, to see updated high school athletic events, we had to direct everyone to the Mississippi Valley Conference’s website.  Last week we were able to setup a method to grab these events off their calendar and automatically import them to our calendar each evening. Not all of the event detail information comes across in this imports (maps, directions, etc..), so you may still need to visit that site.  The link is still located under the calendar section of PrairiePride.org  However, it is nice to have all of the Prairie events at a glance in one calendar again.

I would encourage all Prairie staff members to check out the new calendar format and share these new features with all of our parents and patrons.
